Tax Exemption Disclaimer
Please note that tax exemptions are applied to specific email accounts and not email domains. For example, say “[email protected]” sends Drip Depot Support the tax exemption information for his business to make his account tax-exempt. Later, “[email protected]” places an order for her boss, John. Jane finds that the order she placed was charged tax. – This is because the tax exemption was applied to the account under John’s email address and when Jane placed the order it was under her account.
For this reason, it is suggested to have one account set up with Drip Depot for all orders. This helps you keep track of all of your orders by having them all in one place and also ensures that your orders will not be charged tax once your documentation is submitted.
