If you're looking for a solution to your water or system problems, you've come to the right place!

In this short article, we will address some common points of frustration for folks, and hopefully provide some solutions to get your system operating optimally!

Please note - Many of these solutions are meant to be used with Fertilizer Injector systems (Ideally EZ-Flo units). If you don't have an EZ-Flo unit or a fertilizer injector and need help selecting one, reach out to our help desk!

Issue: Critters/ Animals/ Pests Chewing Drip Tape or Driplines: Unfortunately, some of nature's uninvited guests can make their way into your garden and can cause problems by chewing tubing or drip tape.

Solution: Critter MAXX

This is a 100% organic repellent product that is considered safe for use in and around your vegetable garden to protect against moles, voles, and gophers. This is not a poison, it will not kill pests, only repels them. The ingredients are on the EPA’s 25(b) list of known safe repellents identified and regulated by the FIFRA Act.

How to apply: Critter-Maxx is not systemic so must be applied frequently (every 30-45 days normally) to the problem area. It can be applied through an EZ-Flo injector system, a hose-end sprayer, or a pressure tank sprayer.

Issue: Hard Water In My System (Clogged emitters or drippers)If you have hard water or water with minerals that cause build up, you know how frustrating it can be to see clogged emitters. Cleanable drippers are helpful but can be labor-intensive and time-consuming to clean an entire system.

Solution: Hydro-Cleanse:

This is a drip emitter cleaner & pH reduction product. This organic acid is ideal for treating calcium build-up in lines and drip emitters and treating hard water and lower soil pH levels.

How to apply: Hydro-Clean can be applied all year. Recommended to be applied with EZ-Flo Fertilizer Injector.

Issue: My Reclaimed Water or Heavy Clay Soil is causing poor landscape health: Issues with water or your soil can be the primary causes of poor landscape health and irrigation performance.

Solution: Maxx Flush:

This is designed to improve soil and water quality to maximize fertilizer and irrigation efficiency. It contains Calcium, Humic Acid, and Nitrogen and is used for salt mitigation and adding calcium to your soil.

How to apply:  Apply Maxx Flush alone, do not mix with other products or fertilizers. Can be used all year. Recommended to be used with an EZ-Flo Fertilizer Injector.

Issue: I'm using Drip Irrigation for my landscape, and getting poor results: Drip Irrigation for landscapes can be tricky due to the nature of dripline or drip tape and varying water absorption rates. This can cause patchy, uneven-looking landscapes.

Solution: Hydro-Maxx:

This is a water treatment product, designed to improve soil and water quality to maximize fertilizer and irrigation efficiency. This formula helps to increase water penetration and retention while freeing calcium and nutrients in the soil, and can reduce water usage by up to 30%!

How to apply: Hydro-Maxx is compatible with all Ferti-Maxx products, it can be used year-round, and is recommended to be used with an EZ-Flo Fertilizer Injector.
